Conveyancing

I am a Consultant Solicitor in the residential conveyancing Team based in Worthing and working remotely from home.

I specialise in all aspects of residential conveyancing whether leasehold or freehold.  I have extensive experience in this field having qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1984 and subsequently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1994.

My areas of expertise include:

  • Residential sales and purchases of freehold registered land

  • Residential sales and purchase of freehold flats including ensuring appropriate deeds of mutual covenants are in place for the benefit of the buyer and other flat owner

  • Residential sales and purchase of leasehold registered land including dealing with managing agents and provision of leasehold information packs; the suitability of the terms of the lease and any possible need to vary those terms and giving effect to any necessary deeds

I work collaboratively with my clients and pride myself in my ability to build a personable but professional relationship which extends to other members of the profession and associated persons such as estate agents, mortgage brokers and lenders.

I would describe myself as approachable; able to communicate at all levels with clients of all ages; a good listener and a sound adviser both privately and professionally.  I am loyal and committed to providing the best possible version of me to my family, friends, colleagues and clients.

I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren and extended family members.  I love to cook and be explorative with my recipes.  I love my cat, Harry.  I love to try new things and have undertaken local college courses in pottery; art; woodwork and metal work and enjoy the creativity of these projects.  I also enjoy travelling very much as it gives me the opportunity to explore new cultures and culinary tastes.
