Bi-lingual Maria recently joined the Bate & Albon team as a residential property paralegal, assisting clients throughout the buying and selling process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction.
Starting her career in 2014, Maria pursued a legal path enrolling at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil becoming a qualified lawyer. After time in Ecuador gaining hands-on experience in property conveyancing, notarial procedures, portfolio recovery, and legalisation processes, Maria came to the UK in 2022 pursuing a master’s degree in IT and IP Law from the University of Sussex.
Maria has extensive experience in the legal sector, having worked in law firms handling debt recovery for banks, and working in the Municipality of Guayaquil practising conveyancing, helping clients obtain their property deeds. She was also promoted several times and held leadership positions during her time in Ecuador.
Moving to the UK, Maria had to navigate challenges but with hard work, dedication, and a positive outlook, she overcame these obstacles. Dedicated to providing high-quality conveyancing services to her clients, Maria is a resilient and determined professional, always prioritising transparency and honesty.
We’re very lucky to have such an experienced legal professional on our team. Outside of work, you’ll find Maria staying active, practicing hot yoga and barre.
What makes Bate & Albon unique to other firms?
‘We prioritise delivering high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction. Our focus is not on the number of cases, but on the excellence of our service.’
