Leasehold Enfranchisement

I am a leasehold enfranchisement paralegal at Bate & Albon.

My entire career has been within property, especially lettings and block management which has given me a thorough knowledge of my field and naturally migrated into leasehold law approximately 9 years ago.

My Work Largely Involves:

Lease extensions, both inside and outside the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
Handling the assignment of lease extension claims as part of the sale process
Right to Manage claims
Freehold enfranchisement claims
Tenants right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987

I act for both tenants and landlords, and have good relationships with a number of local surveyors who I work alongside in the lease extension process.

Outside of the workplace, I am a voracious reader (via kindle to save space in the house!), walking my Springer Poodle on the beach, cooking, cinema and spending time with my family.
