Hamish has been with Bate & Albon since May 2023, having joined us from a regional firm. With a brief time working in family law back in 2000, he has since become a seasoned real estate lawyer with an extensive understanding of the commercial legal sphere. After obtaining his law degree, Hamish studied his postgraduate diploma at the College of Law, and in later years became the President of Eastbourne Law Society.
Hamish’s key role at Bate & Albon is advising clients on non-contentious commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant transactions and acting for developers on site acquisitions, onward sales. Hamish also specialises in commercial property transactions involving pension funds (SIPPs and SSASs). His favourite part of the legal process is closing deals for his clients.
