Chris Albon

Chris joined Bate & Albon, (then Bate & Co), 7 years ago. As a partner of the firm, he runs our Worthing office and helps manage projects and departments across the firm. Having lived locally for 20 years, Chris has firm roots in the Worthing area.

Driven by the exciting demands of the legal profession, Chris attended Sussex University before finishing his post graduate diploma in legal practice at the College of Law. With extensive experience working in both large provincial firms and smaller Brighton firms, Chris also worked as an equity partner for 10 years before joining the firm, he even worked for a short time in criminal law.

Chris spends his days focusing on business development, maintaining relationships and securing clients for the firm. But it’s more than just a job, Chris has maintained long-standing relationships with many of his clients, as well as building strong rapports within the team.

Among his many achievements throughout his legal career, Chris has handled thousands of sales, purchases and remortgages for a variety of clients, from first-time buyers to investor landlords with substantial portfolios.

As a charismatic, approachable and driven partner, Chris stops at nothing to get the best results for his clients and continuously finds ways to improve business operations. When he’s not acing running the Bate & Albon firm, you’ll find him out on the golf course (or speaking Spanish!)
