Founding the firm back in 2015 as a sole practitioner, Carl is an active managing partner and has headed up various departments over the years as the firm has grown. He is at the helm and especially enjoys focusing on the management and development of the business.
Initially, Carl studied psychology, successfully completing his undergraduate degree before being drawn to a career in the legal profession. He was awarded First Class Honours in the Law Society Finals at the College of Law, Guildford, and then joined a firm in the City of London, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1995. Carl moved to a Brighton firm in 1999, practising as a Partner at a few larger local Sussex firms, before setting up his own legal practice in 2015.
Carl has led many successful and interesting projects over his career, including acting on the sale of Bewl Water, the largest reservoir in the Southeast. When he is not running a busy legal practice, you will find Carl walking his dog, following his favourite football team or indulging his passion for reading classic detective fiction.
